Google and L'Oreal are teaming up in the name of beauty, making styling tutorials finally within reach of men and women who need expert advice in a snap. The National Monitor reports that L'Oreal has joined forces with Google Glass in developing and launching 'Matrix Class for Glass,' deemed to revolutionize the salon experience.

Developed to provide wearers the unique perspective of a stylist's eye-view of the head, the program covers three parts, including beauty sessions from celebrity stylist George Papanikolas, a video series featuring extensive tutorials, and a series of beauty lessons from hair care experts using Google Glass. All videos are shot with the wearable gadget, according to Engadget.

'Matrix Class for Glass,' features "styling sessions directly from the eye of the stylist," says the National Monitor so that the wearer of the device, be it a beauty school student or a regular salon client, may have the best perspective, and may experience coveted beauty sessions from world-renowned names in the cosmetics industry.

The National Monitor explains that the program will start off with the launching an "exclusive blogger video series that will capture styling sessions directly from the eye of the stylist," according to Matrix, a subsidiary of L'Oreal USA.

The second part, continues the National Monitor, consists of a rare opportunity of being styled by popular Matrix stylist George Papanikolas, who will shoot beauty sessions at the Andy LeCompte Salon in Los Angeles, using only the wearable device. Beauty sessions with Papanikolas have been known to be very hard to come by in that the only way to get them is via exclusive appointments in the Matrix Eye for Style Chair at upscale salon.

The third part of the program features an extensive training package from Matrix with the launching of a "salon professional education platform" aimed to help hair stylists improve their skills with the best training programs in the industry, says the National Monitor.

Papanikolas, who has handled Hollywood clients like Megan Fox, Minka Kelly, Nicole Richie, Sarah Michelle Gellar, and Maria Menounos, says that the 'Matrix Class for Glass' will certainly revolutionize the salon experience.

He says, "Salon clients and women around the world have long lamented the fact that they're unable to have their talented hairstylists at their side to recreate their favorite salon hairstyles at home. Now, thanks to the technology of Google Glass and Matrix, the salon experience is forever changed," reports IT Business Net.
