Apart from the latest news that the Samsung Galaxy S5 will have a home screen that looks the same as Google, the upcoming flagship phone of the Korean tech company has been included in the list of the best 2014 smartphones worth watching out for.

According to Value Walk, the Galaxy S5 is one of the smartphones that can go head to head with Apple's upcoming iPhone 6. But several speculations lead to the possibility of the gadget being released in the latter months. It is expected to have the very first iOS 8 operating system.

The new Google Nexus 6 is also assumed to be the first ever smartphone to have a screen measuring 6 inches. There is a high chance that it might have a brand new version too of the Android and may ranked third in the watchlist, next to the iPhone 6 and the Samsung Galaxy S5.

Other smartphones worth watching out for this year include the Sony Xperia Z2, HTC One 2 or the HTC M8, and the Asus ZenFone. So which of these 2014 smartphones will you certainly go for once it gets offered to the public?
