Another Hollywood A-list couple is headed for divorce. After months of speculations, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner have finally confirmed that they are ending their ten-year marriage.

The news of their divorce came just a few days after a hauling van was seen in their Brentwood home, as reported by ET. This also happened just months after the first report of a troublesome marriage surfaced in the media.

"After much thought and careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to divorce," Affleck and Garner's joint statement read. "We go forward with love and friendship for one another and a commitment to co-parenting our children whose privacy we ask to be respected during this difficult time. This will be our only comment on this private, family matter. Thank you for understanding."

The 10-year marriage bore three kids: Violet, 9, Seraphina, 6, and Sam, 3. Custody and financial issues are now being threshed out. The couple will not file a divorce until these matters are settled.

Affleck and Garner's relationship is a well documented Hollywood fairytale. Affleck, who hit stardom after the 1997 blockbuster "Good Will Hunting," told Playboy that he first met Garner on the set of the movie they both starred in, 2001 film, "Pearl Harbor" and "fell in love on 'Daredevil'."

The romance created a big buzz in celebrity news, as Affleck just came from a cancelled wedding to superstar Jennifer Lopez, after which, he dated Enza Sambataro, a sales executive. Garner, on the other hand, already had one divorce under her belt - her failed marriage with Scott Foley, now known for his work on the TV series "Scandal." She also briefly dated her "Alias" costar, Michael Vartan, according to PEOPLE.

The couple wed in June 2005, and since then have become a dream couple for a lot of celebrity followers. To maintain the family life of two a-list parents, it was reported that the couple had to work out a system where only one of them were working at a movie at any point.

Affleck's career took a gentle downslope through the early 2000s but a directing stint in the 2012 movie "Argo" revived his film career. "Argo" won the Best Picture Oscar in 2012. His acceptance speech suggested some problems in the Garner-Affleck household. "I want to thank you for working on our marriage for 10 Christmases. It's good. It is work, but the best kind of work, and there's no one I'd rather work with."
