"For me, the player with the most talent at Manchester United is Angel." This was Marcos Rojo's statement after the transfer market went abuzz over news that Angel Di Maria, the most expensive player in the history of British football, will be moved this summer. Rojo is Di Maria's teammate in both Manchester United and Argentina's national soccer team.

"There are great players at the club--but Angel, for me, is one of the best in the team and in the world. It has been a difficult year for him. He had some problems adapting but that's normal," Rojo added in an interview with the Copa America website.

"Any player coming to a new country and a new league has to adapt to the differences and that's what happens, but I'm sure he will do really well in the months ahead," said Rojo.

Di Maria, whom Manchester United signed at a hallmark £59.7 million from Real Madrid last summer, has faced a bumpy first season in the Premier League.

Di Maria started out well with the English club, playing great in the midfield. He also registered a slew of assists, but his post-December performance leave much to be desired. He recorded uninspired playing, a knock-out loss to Arsenal in the FA cup, and a series of bad decisions when the ball is in his possession. And injuries.

Man Utd manager Louis van Gaal removed the Argentinian playmaker from his starting XI position following problems Di Maria had on and off the field. Di Maria's last goal for Manchester was on January 4.

Di Maria currently plays in the Copa America in Chile for the Argentina National Team. On Tuesday, the Argentinian team knocked out Paraguay to send the Albiceleste to the Copa America final with the hosts Chile.

In an inspired performance, Di Maria scored two goals for his country. Together with teammate Marcos Rojo and FC Barcelona's Lionel Messi, the Albiceleste finished off the Paraguayans with a statement-making 6x1 game.

The transfer market opens Wednesday, signaling the start of a two-month period where teams can recruit and sell their players to prepare for tournaments after summer.

Manchester United is set to spend £150 million ($234,727,500), this summer and has already announced their acquisition of PSV Eindhoven Memphis Depay, making Di Maria's future uncertain.

For now, Angel Di Maria and the Argentinian National Team are focused on lifting the Copa America for the first time in 22 years as it faces the hosts Chile in the Copa America Final. Chile has not won an international title in 99 years.
