Another star has checked in to rehab this week. Dean McDermott, famously known as Tori Spelling's husband, has turned to rehab in an attempt to save his family. His representatives confirmed to Us Weekly that this is a decision Dean made himself.

Television producer, actor and the host of "Chopped Canada" released a statement to Us Weekly explaining why he has check in to rehab. "I am truly sorry for the mistakes I have made and for the pain I've caused my family," McDermott said. "I take full responsibility for my actions and have voluntarily checked myself into a treatment center to address some health and personal issues. I am grateful to be getting the help I need so I can become the husband and father my family deserves."

On Dec. 26, Us Weekly reported that McDermott had cheated on wife Tori Spelling with a 28-year old woman named Emily Goodhand in Toronto. McDermott was alone in his hometown of Toronto, Canada promoting his new series "Chopped Canada". Goodhand says, "He told me he and Tori has a sexless marriage. I believed him." Emily Goodhand met Dean through mutual friends and, after talking, headed to the Fairmont Royal York Hotel to have sex.

Goodhand is quite the generous woman isn't she? Tori Spelling has not addressed her husband's infidelity publicly and has actually stuck by his side. Instead, she has been seen several times with Dean and their kids at Disneyland and on different outings. If McDermott and Spelling love each other and want to keep their family united, why not have him get help? We wish this family the best as we have also seen them grow through their reality shows together.

Dean and Tori have been married for seven years and have four kids together: Liam, 6, Stella, 5, Hattie, 2, and Finn, who is 16 months old.
