On Wednesday, Kevin Love announced through a blog entry on the Players' Tribune that he will be re-signing with Cleveland Cavaliers with a five-year $110 million contract offer. Now the question that plagues the signing is whether Love will be a Cavalier for long.

In a report by NBA reporter Sean Deveney for Sporting News, it was noted that some league executives are now saying that Love could be back on the trading block by early 2016.

The Cavs decided on signing the power forward back into their rotation, saving the franchise from losing last season's prized catch over nothing, according to Deveny's sources. But if rebounder Tristan Thompson and Love's play on the court won't prove successful next season, and if Love will be sidelined by more injuries, he may need to say goodbye to the team.

"Maybe in February or in the summer, you could see Love being talked about," one league executive told Sporting News. "If he stays healthy next year, that is what is most important. If he plays 75 games or so, then he is still going to have a lot of value, even if his numbers are not great. So it is still a chance for them to get assets going forward and if you gave up the No. 1 pick, you need to be able get something that will help long-term."

However, as of July 2, free agent Thompson and the Cavaliers have yet to reach a signing on a deal. The 6'9" forward and the Cavaliers were even reported to be very far from a contract as of this time, according to ESPN correspondent Brian Windhorst.

Love acknowledged the free agency rumors in his article titled "Unfinished Business" but said that at the end of the day and after meeting with his teammates and Cavaliers' front office, for him "it was clear Cleveland was the place for me."

The Cavs star ended by saying, "We're all on the same page and we're all in. We have unfinished business and now it's time to get back to work."
