M.A.C Cosmetics is about to make it easy for you to get Kim Kardashian's contoured look. The makeup brand announced that it would be opening its first makeup studio in New York later in July.

With YouTube and Instagram opening outlets for beauty lovers through makeup tutorials, M.A.C is ready to offer its customers more than just products, but instead techniques and a lifestyle.

In an article for The New York Times, James Gager, the brands creative director, and Karen Buglisi Weiler, the global brand president, explained the road ahead for M.A.C  and what they hopes to accomplish with their new venture.

"This is the first time we're putting services out in front," said Gager. "This means that the makeup artists staffing the salon won't be pushing lipsticks and blushes, though there are plenty on display. That's one attraction MAC is betting will draw clients. Customers can have their makeup done free at a store counter if they are willing to fend off sales pitches."

The salon will have a more relaxed vibe and will include scheduled appointments to allow customers planned visits. On their visits, customers can ask questions and get tips from the makeup experts.

The salon will provide makeup lessons, host beauty parties and can supply services to events like weddings.

How much would these services cost? Prices can range from $50-$90.

Just like in their product stores you can get your makeup done. Getting your lips done in a classic red will cost you $10, a perfect cat eye, attached false lashes and a contoured face are priced at $15.

With hopes to open more salons in the future, the choice to open the first on Lexington Avenue in Manhattan was pretty simple, according to Gordan Espinet, the brands Senior vice president for makeup artistry.

"We expect some tourists, but it's really New Yorkers here," he said. "New Yorkers will ask a lot of questions, and New Yorkers can be demanding. They know what they want."
