James Rodriguez has a lot of free time on his hands.

On his Instagram account, Rodriguez posted a photo of himself, sitting behind home plate during the Los Angeles Dodgers vs. New York Mets game.

Rodriguez was in the news recently after, according to 90 Mins, newest Real Madrid player Danillo said Rodirguez is the best signing Real Madrid has done in recent memory.

"I played alongside him at Porto for two years and I knew back then that he was a great player. Some people thought he was overrated and he has proven that he is not. He is one of Real Madrid's best signings of recent years," Danillo said. "Ronaldo is the best player in the world right now. He has the FIFA award (the Ballon d'Or) to show as much. If I had to vote, I would vote for him."

Rodriguez says otherwise. According to The Guardian, Rodriguez said Lionel Messi is the best player in the world and is playing in whole other level: "Messi is in another world. He's a unique player. You can't speak of a James duel with Messi because it would be unfair to him."

Rodriguez, who is fresh off the Copa America has had a sensational yea. This past season with Real Madrid, he scored 13 goals with 13 assists on 53 shots. His Colombian team was eliminated by Lionel Messi's Argentinian team in the semifinal of the Copa America.

Before the match against Argentina, it was reported that Rodriguez gave a heartfelt gesture to a 7-year-old boy by hugging him and giving him his training sweater.
