"The Biggest Loser" contestant Tara Costa married her fiancé on Saturday.

The Season 7 contestant put a picture collage on her Facebook Page with the words, "I'm married to my best friend."

Costa and John Baranowski were married in Babylon, New York and had their wedding reception at the historic mansion Woodlands at Woodbury, Us Weekly confirms.

"I am not the person who has dreamt of this day since I was a little girl and to be honest I never thought I would be the one to find that special person. But today is a HUGE day for me and probably one of the most important days of my entire life. I get to marry my best friend, John," the 30-year-old bride said.

About 180 guests attended the celebration on the Fourth of July including other "Biggest Loser" contestants Mark Pinhasovich, Pamela Geil and Jackson Carter.

Costa, a physical education teacher, finished in third place behind winner Helen Phillips, E! News reports.

"I'll have to say that it's rare to see two people as happy with each other as Tara and John," Pinhasovich told E! News. "They really are a perfect match."

The newlyweds had their first dance to "History in the Making" by Darius Ruckers. The reception was decorated in pastel colored roses, hydrangeas, snapdragons and orchids while guests enjoyed a candlelight dinner.

Fourth of July-themed cocktails made the evening a little more festive along with a three-tiered fondant cake for dessert.

Still in holiday spirit, family members let off sparklers at the event to celebrate the happy couple's new journey together.

"He's the reason for so much happiness in my life. We've chosen to live this life together, because there's no one else in the entire world we'd rather do it with," Costa said of her new husband.

The bride anxiously promoted details of her wedding before the big day.
