As many fans are already well aware, Season 2 of "Outlander" will be taking place in France, with the Frasers traveling to Paris in an attempt to change history and stop the Jacobite Rebellion. But most aren't aware that, even though Jamie is the poster child for Scottish culture, he may be losing his kilt from time-to-time in the season, according to Entertainment Weekly.

EW recently released a tweet with the first look at the new attire for Claire and Jamie.

They also sat down for an interview with the show's executive producer Ron Moore and learned a little more about Season 2, which is based on the second novel in the Diana Gabaldon series titled "Dragonfly in Amber."

Moore disclosed that they are currently wrapping up "the beginning," which may refer to their principal photography for the French locales. He did disclose, however, that although they are shooting in blocks, that basically might amount to wrapping up Episodes 4 and 5.

The stand-ins for Paris, though, have many different locations.

"Paris is sort of a combination of three basic places," Moore told EW. "Scotland, where we're building interiors on our sound stages and going out to find houses or exteriors that might work for someone's Parisian apartment or palace or garden. Then we're going to go to Prague, and in Prague we're going to shoot street scenes for Paris. Like, when you see our characters going through the streets of Paris it will be the streets of Prague, primarily. There will also be some locations in Prague that would serve as, like, the Palace of Versailles. Likewise, there are some locations in the south of England, some of the English palaces that have some French rooms."

In order for Jamie and Claire to change history, as they set out to do by coming to Paris, their wardrobes get a major overhaul. This includes fitting in with the aristocracy that was so inherent at that point in time.

But when asked if Jamie would be wearing his kilt, Moore showed us that he will play the role when needed.

"He'll do both. He will wear his kilt on occasion, and on others he won't," Moore told EW.
