"Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" has a new movie trailer, and it goes into dramatic detail about everything DC Comic fans have dreamed of for years with the crossover of their most popular heroes, according to CNET.

What is most breathtaking about this trailer is it finally pits the two epic superheroes in battle. The first trailer of course was more of a tease for the pending action. But now, fans got a glimpse into the battle where the Caped Crusader (Ben Affleck) takes a mortal stand against the Man of Steel (Henry Cavill).

As for special features in the trailer, the story seems to look at the action last seen on the 2013 "Man of Steel" movie, which left Superman's arch nemesis General Zod dead. But the destruction and carnage left in the wake of that battle also left others dead, and it seemed as though Batman was present on the ground attempting to save lives during the super-alien battle.

So now, Batman has taken it upon himself to see that Superman's powers are either kept in check or destroyed. One way or another, the Dark Knight will stop Superman from causing any more damage to the city or the people, even if his reasons are justified to fight evil.

This of course is where the evil mastermind Lex Luthor (Jesse Eisenberg) comes into play. Luthor, who has a full and healthy head of long hair, is present in the trailer and his parting words for fans were, "The red capes are coming, the red capes are coming."

The two worlds of Metropolis and Gotham City have officially merged in the new film, and the superheroes of both are coming out, which included an onscreen appearance by Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot).

There were rumors that Aquaman (Jason Momoa) and the Flash (Ezra Miller) would appear in the film, but there was no sign of them in the trailer.
