While "Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation" will definitely be the top-selling film of the week, the studios will release one of the biggest animated successes of the year alongside a dramatic film and an Indie feature.

"Home": Starring Jim Parsons and Rihanna, the latest Dreamworks film tells the story of Oh, an alien who is running away from his planet and lands on Earth. Through his adventures he meets Tip, who is on her own quest. Having opened in March, Fox scored a massive $175 million box office gross. While reviews were mixed, family audiences enjoyed the film. With "Minions" and "Inside Out" already being more than three weeks at the box office, family audiences may want another animated option. "Home" will definitely give that option especially for audiences who did not get a chance to see it during its theatrical run.

"Comet": IFC's romantic dramedy is set in a parallel universe, in which "a Comet bounces back and forth over the course of an unlikely but perfectly paired couple's six-year relationship." The movie stars Justin Long and Emmy Rossum and was released last year in December. Having played at the LA Film Festival, the movie scored mixed reviews and flopped in its theatrical run. With little marketing and a lack of A-list stars, this movie will likely be buried under the crowded marketplace.

"The Water Diviner": Warner Bros. will release Russell Crowe's directorial debut after having underperformed at the box office. The movie tells the story an Australian man who travels to Turkey after the Battle of Gallipoli. There, he attempts to locate his three missing sons. The studio released the film in April but failed to give it a wide release or a big marketing campaign. Reviews were good, and interestingly enough Warner Bros. promoted the film as the Best Picture winner of the Australian film awards. This was something that would usually not sell to U.S. markets especially because those awards are not recognized in the states. Crowe fans will definitely embrace the film, but with little marketing or awareness, it is likely to flop on VOD and DVD.

Other releases include the Season 2 of "Helix," SyFy's hit series, and "Justice League: Gods and Monsters."

Disney will release "Descendants," the show about a present-day idyllic kingdom where the benevolent teenage son of King Adam and Queen Belle offers a chance of redemption for the trouble-making offspring of Disney's classic villains. Among the villains in the series are Cruella De Vil, Maleficent, the Evil Queen and Jafar.
