Heisenberg might make a cameo appearance in Season 2 of "Better Call Saul."

Movie News Guide reports Walter White, played by Bryan Cranston in the hit show "Breaking Bad," could make a cameo appearance in the upcoming "Better Call Saul" season.

In an interview with Access Hollywood, Cranston praised the show, saying it is terrific.

"'Better Call Saul' is a show that stands on its own and does quite well. It's a terrific show. I love it," Cranston said.

"That being said, if creator Vince Gilligan thought that there was some legitimate reason why my character would brush up against those characters, I would do it," he continued. "I would do it in a heartbeat because I owe him -- and because it's a great show. But he wouldn't do it just for stunt casting. It would be for story reasons. There would be something cool behind it."

Fans and performers of the show are clamoring for the return of White. Vince Gilligan, who created both "Breaking Bad" and "Better Call Saul," hinted a Walter White cameo appearance is inevitable. In an interview with the New York Daily News, he said, "It would be great to see Walter White on 'Better Call Saul.'"

There have been reports where Cranston has agreed to be on the show but behind the camera. For those who haven't seen "Breaking Bad," Walter White was the main protagonist who went from high school chemistry teacher to a crystal meth drug lord.

"Better Call Saul" is in the midst of filming Season 2 and will return in 2016. Season 1 had the highest ratings in AMC history. According to Variety, Season 1 averaged 5.9 million viewers.
