Mariah Carey is rumored to be seriously considering relocating to Australia and moving in with new billionaire boyfriend James Packer.

Life & Style magazine reports the two are on the fast track in their relatively new relationship and are at the point of leaning toward taking things to that level.

"Mariah wants to move Down Under," a source told the magazine. "She's totally in love."

But she may still have more things to consider. Rumors are soon-to-be ex-husband Nick Cannon is adamantly opposed to the idea of the four-year-old twins the two share moving across the country. Speculation is "The America's Got Talent" host would almost certainly be open to taking his ex to court to preserve his rights.

"The court can say, 'You want to move to Australia, Mariah, have a good time,'" family law expert and attorney Goldie Schon told the magazine. "But the children are now going to be primarily in the custody of Nick. That is what the court has the discretion to do. So, it's a risk."

In addition, a source hinted to OK magazine Cannon will look for any reasons he can to prevent the move, including pointing out such things as he's always had to worry about "Mariah drinking around the children."

Meanwhile, reports are the billionaire Australian businessman has already proposed to the "Hero" singer and promised to buy her "a large estate on the island of Capri, Italy" once their nuptials have been made official.

''He's planning on buying out a large section of Capri -- her favorite place in the world -- for a sky's-the-limit wedding,'' a source said.

Carey, 45, and Packer recently spent Fourth of July weekend together in Las Vegas after jetting back from an extended stay on his king-sized yacht in the Mediterranean.

Several media outlets have also reported the couple ventured to Israel during their extended vacation for a "pre-engagement spiritual meeting" with Packer's longtime religious adviser.
