"Teen Mom OG" star Catelynn Lowell enjoyed a bridal shower thrown by family and friends on Sunday.

Lowell wore a short, white dress and a "Bride" headband while her bridesmaids donned toilet paper wedding dresses and veils.

The bride-to-be posted Instagram pictures, including a snapshot with her mom, April Baltierra, who is married to Tyler Baltierra's father, Butch, and one with her adorable daughter, Novalee Reign.

The couple's adoption counselor Dawn Baker was also in attendance. She has become a close family friend after helping the couple make the difficult decision of placing their baby, Carolyn (Carly) Elizabeth, up for adoption in 2009.

Also on Sunday, Tyler posted a selfie to Instagram along with this message to fans, "Just want to give a shout to all of the amazing people that support mine & Cates journey & have invested their time into learning something from our lives," he wrote. "I appreciate & love all of you! Still hard to believe that 1 million people show their love & support on Instagram for 2 kids in love facing odds together, but I honestly wouldn't be anywhere without all of you! #AMillionThanks #Blessed."

Lowell and Tyler's renaissance-themed Northern Michigan wedding happens on Aug. 22.

Meanwhile, Farrah Abraham is making news about her Cosmopolitan interview last week in which she compared her plastic surgery transformation to that of Caitlyn Jenner.

When asked about her positive remarks concerning Jenner's openness about being transgender, the "Teen Mom OG" star said that she supports Jenner going public.

"My grandma was a nurse and she helped a lot of transgender clients, so growing up, I was very aware of that, and my family and I have always been very supportive of people going through this," she said.

Abraham said the fact that Jenner shares how she envisions herself is something other people need to understand.

"I envision myself one way... I know how I am and I would love others to understand this. If we have more and more people talking about [plastic surgery], then one day, we will really understand that we aren't trying to change ourselves, we're not trying to change how God made us -- this is how God made us and we're going to get there," she told Cosmo.

Sophia's mom described it "like a transformation from a kid to a tween to teens to adulthood." She said that everyone goes through transformation all through life "whether it be natural or [with] a little help."

Cosmopolitan asked the author if she will ever be finished with plastic surgery, or is it something that could become an addiction.

"I definitely feel finished when I'm finished. I know the exact things that I need. I know, for me, what I see in my head and what I envision I am as Farrah -- it's like Caitlyn [Jenner], who talks about this openly, how she envisions herself... 'this is who we are' kind of thing," she said.

Abraham mentioned the importance of plastic surgeons counseling each patient to ensure they are mentally healthy and don't have a warped view of themselves due to depression or something else.

"I don't like going to the hospital. I don't want to put myself through pain. So I'm very limited; I know what I need and then I call it a day," she explained.

"Teen Mom OG" Season 6 is currently filming. MTV has not yet announced its premiere date.
