The twins from the 1990s sitcom "Sister, Sister" are now mothers who share their parenting skills with the world.

Tia Mowry tells Yahoo! Parenting that she is not an old school mom like her twin sister Tamera Mowry.

"I'm less traditional than Tamera -- she doesn't co-sleep and I do," the 37-year-old mom revealed. "I also never pushed my son to walk and I won't do 'cry it out' [sleep training]. Cree only started sleeping in his own bed when he was three and a half."

Tia revealed that Tamera mainly followed their mother's path in raising her kids.

"Tamera is more by the book, like my own mom who says, 'Why does Cree still have a bottle in his mouth?' I say, 'Mom, he's not going to college with a pacifier or co-sleep when he's a teen,'" she said.

Either way, the sisters who escaped the "child star curse" share parenting advice with each other.

Tia credits her "incredible" support system for helping her to not crumble in the entertainment industry like a lot of other child stars.

She is now the star of Nickelodeon's "Instant Mom" and a host of her own show "Tia Mowry at Home." She and her husband Cory Hardrict have a 4-year-old son together.

Meanwhile, Tamera is married with two children. She and her husband Adam Housley recently welcomed a new baby girl.

Tamera talked about her parenting style before giving birth to her second child, stating that she's "mixed, but very traditional."

"I'm not a helicopter mom. I allow my son to have his space and be independent. I'm an old school mom -- he can play in the dirt and the sand," she revealed.

"It's important for him to get dirty, be curious, creative, and play with other kids," Tamera added. "I sit back and watch him. But kids will be kids on the playground, a little aggressive. So the moment I see something, or he gets hurt, that's when I come in."

The Mowry twins have come a long way.
