Apart from being one of the best basketball player on the planet, Lebron James makes movies on the side.

Rumors have been circulating a second "Space Jam" movie may be in the works, and James' new deal with Warner Brothers only fuels the whispers.

According to CBS Sports, the superstar has agreed to a partnership with Warner Brothers with rumors swirling that the Cavaliers star will be starring in the next in "Space Jam 2", the sequel to the 1996 animation film. According to a tweet by writer Alex Werpin, Warner Brothers already filed the necessary paperwork for a trademark for "Space Jam 2."

James talked about the partnership with Warner Brothers, stating the following: "Connecting with my fans and telling meaningful stories have always been my passion, In everything I've done, from Nike commercials to Uninterrupted and Survivor's Remorse, it's always about connecting with people of all ages and providing unique content they can all enjoy. And I've always loved movies, which makes Warner Bros. the ultimate partner to help us continue to push the envelope. I can't wait to see what we come up with."

James recently starred in his first feature film, "Trainwreck," with Amy Schumer and Bill Hader. The movie has gotten positive reviews and James performance was pretty good. This is his first feature film role.

Although the rumors of "Space Jam 2" are swirling, that does not necessarily mean that the movie will be made. For those who are not familiar, "Space Jam" starred Basketball Hall of Famer Michael Jordan back in 1996. The story centered about Jordan teaming up with Bugs Bunny and the rest of the Tunes Squad to defeat the evil Monstars in a basketball game.

Recently, James re-signed with the Cavaliers on a two-year, $46 million contract. His team made it to the NBA Finals this year but lost to the Golden State Warriors in six games.
