"Lost" alum Terry O'Quinn is officially returning to ABC following his stint as Charlie Fisher, the head of law firm Fisher, Fisher and Herrero in the network's short-lived drama pilot "The Adversaries."

He has joined the Season 2 cast of "Secrets and Lies," reports The Hollywood Reporter.

In "Secrets & Lies" Season 2, O'Quinn will play John Warner, a charming finance mogul and the doting father of three children. He built his Charlotte, North Carolina private equity firm from the ground up. His business and personal dealings are based on honesty and morality.

Ready to retire, John plans to pass the firm's legacy to his heir apparent and eldest son, Eric Warner (Michael Ealy). The night of the party to celebrate Eric's promotion is interrupted by the murder of Eric's wife, Kate Warner. John's has to put his retirement plans on hold to lead his family and company through the devastating tragedy.

Detective Andrea Cornell (Juliette Lewis) launches an investigation into Kate's murder, which includes a close look into the lives of John, Eric and their lives.

Mekia Cox stars as Amanda Warner, Eric's sister, who works as a criminal attorney. She rushes to her brother's defense once Cornell targets him in the murder investigation.

The role is O'Quinn's latest at ABC, following "Lost" and the brief thriller "666 Park Avenue." His television acting credits also include CBS' "Hawaii Five-0," Fox's "Gang Related" and the second season of DirecTV's "Full Circle."

"Secrets and Lies" Season 2 will return to ABC midseason.
