Presidential hopeful Donald Trump has let go of one of his New York properties.

The 69-year-old billionaire's Big Apple penthouse was sold for $21 million, The Wall Street Journal reported, citing Trump's listing agent, Michelle Griffith of Trump International Realty. Mr. Trump's daughter, Ivanka Trump, who holds an executive position in the Trump Organization, has confirmed the deal but she clarified that the home's sale was not related to her father's plans to become Head of State.

The 6,200-square-foot New York apartment has five bedrooms, seven bathrooms and a powder room. The abode also boasts 10-foot ceilings, creating a brighter ambiance. Other notable interior details include wide and tall windows that allow entry of natural light, predominantly white motif that creates a pristine atmosphere, dark flooring that provides great contrast to its surroundings and some colorful accents that make the apartment vibrant.

Griffith told the Journal that her high-profile client never actually lived in the unit, even though it never changed hands before as he was the "first and only owner" of the luxury residence.
