Jessica Alba is on a mission to give women comfort during that very frustrating time of the month. The actress and her lifestyle product company, The Honest Company, have launched a line of feminine care products all made of organic cotton.

Back in May the actress spoke to Refinary29 and revealed she was working on both a beauty and feminine care line.

"We're doing organic feminine care products, an organic tampon, but using a bio-plastic applicator," the 34-year-old said. "And, the packaging is really cute. ... I can't wait for you guys to get them, because I worked really hard with design on that one."

The company took to Instagram on July 29 to introduce the new product line to their followers.

The actress, who was featured in a Forbes Magazine cover story about her $1 billion company, has made a name for herself as a leader of the green initiative.

"I think being 'eco' or 'green' has a stigma," Alba told Refinary29. "I feel like people think they need to be so completely yoga-ed out, making potions in their backyard, and being vegan. But, I think we gave them a pathway to live a healthier life without them being so extreme, and we have a very accessible way of doing that."

Alba is determined to tackle various lifestyle products, which she will continue when her eco-friendly beauty line launches this fall. The line will feature lipsticks, glosses, foundation, liners and more.

The company, which recently celebrated a year-long partnership with major retailer Target, also took on a new venture in June with the release of their airport kiosks filled with Honest products. The kiosks cater to the on the go eco-friendly conscious traveler.
