Ronda Rousey will defend her Ultimate Fighting Championship women's bantamweight title against Bethe Correia at UFC 190 on Saturday night at HSBC Arena in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Rousey, who holds a perfect 11-0 record, will defend her title outside of Las Vegas and California for the first time in her career, but the undefeated champion does not see the venue of the fight as a disadvantage.

In fact, Rousey said that she is more motivated because she wants to defeat Correia in front of her Brazilian fans on Saturday. Following the official weigh-in on Friday, Rousey thanked Brazilian fans for their warm welcome and vowed to give her challenger a damaging loss.

"Thank you guys for all the noise and passion," Rousey said. "You're not going to be disappointed. I'm going to give you the best women's title fight you've ever seen, the most devastating loss you've ever seen for Bethe and my best win. I can't wait for tomorrow."

On the other hand, Correia knows a big number of Brazilian fans are rooting for Rousey, but the undefeated challenger is unfazed. Correia, who will also put her unblemished 9-0 record on the line, said that she will be at her best for her country.

"I've dreamed about this moment for a long time," Correia said. "I think Brazilians need a female champion. I know a lot of people aren't rooting for me, but I'm going to fight for all of Brazil."

Fight Prediction

Rousey is considered heavy favorite to win on Saturday based on the way she dominated in her last two fights, where she needed just 30 seconds combined to retain her title.

The 28-year-old champion previously said that she will not let the fight end quick because she wants to make Correia feel the pain after the challenger joked about suicide, which did not sit well with Rousey, whose father took his own life when Rousey was just eight years old.

But despite her pronouncement, Rousey is expected to go for the kill in the opening round of their match. Prediction: Rousey by submission in the opening round.
