Scott Disick is rumored to be "desperate" to secure an invitation to Kylie Jenner's 18th birthday celebration in Canada later this month.

According to Hollywood Life, despite his recent public breakup with older sister Kourtney Kardashian, Disick still sees himself as family and feels he has a place there.

"Scott is hoping that he gets invited to help celebrate Kylie's milestone 18th birthday," said a source. "Regardless of his problems with Kourtney, Scott has seen Kylie grown up and considers her family and wants to be there for her special day."

So serious is Disick that he reportedly has already asked Kardashian about the big day and was informed by her she will leave the decision up to Jenner. Jenner's birthday falls on Aug. 10, but she's planning on celebrating the occasion on Aug. 16 at the Montreal Beach Club in Canada, where it's legal to drink at age 18.

"Kylie would love him to be there, but is also respectful of her older sister's current situation," a source added. "It may be best to avoid any conflict at all by not inviting Scott to any birthday gatherings."

From the gift of all birthday gifts department, Hollywood Life adds Kanye West is planning on feting his sister-in-law with a single he plans to produce for her.

"He wants to make sure Kylie gets the best for her 18th birthday," a source added. "He really sees greatness in her and has always told her he wants to help bring it out of her."

Meanwhile, rumors have also circulated that Jenner and rap star boyfriend Tyga could be planning to elope soon after she turns 18 and could ultimately elect to move away from Los Angles, with New York City and Europe reportedly being among their top choices.
