Former champion "Sugar" Shane Mosley wants to prove his doubters wrong after two years of absence. He vows to silence critics and is even eyeing revenge against former tormentors, including Floyd Mayweather Jr., Manny Pacquiao, Miguel Cotto and Saul "Canelo" Alvarez.

"My mindset is to beat all the guys that beat me," Mosley told Boxing Scene.

"Obviously I can't beat Vernon Forrest. God bless the dead. There is Mayweather, there is Pacquiao, there is Winky (Wright) if he wants to come back and fight. There is Canelo and Cotto. They are all out there to fight," he added.

Fight with Mayweather

Mayweather already announced that he will be staging his farewell fight on Sept. 12, at the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas. TMZ Sports reported that the reigning pound-for-pound king has already picked Andre Berto for this scheduled bout.

Although several people think that Mayweather may still come back next year to face his 50th foe, it will be highly unlikely for Mosley to get a shot at Mayweather, as several fighters, including British boxer Amir Khan and Karim Mayfield, whom Mayweather also named as a possible foe, are eyeing a showdown against the unbeaten world champion.

Mosley took a unanimous decision loss to Mayweather during their match in May 2010.

Bout with 'Pacman'

Top Rank CEO Bob Arum is planning a match between Khan and Pacquiao early next year, as confirmed by the British boxer himself to The National. This may even be pushed back to a later date, as "Pacman" is still recovering from the shoulder injury he sustained while training for his clash against Mayweather in May.

Also, Pacquiao could run for a Senate seat in his country, thus he might face just one opponent next year, like what he did when he ran during the 2013 elections. Mosley's chances of getting a fight against "Pacman" soon may also be low, as Arum wants to give Terrence Crawford a shot, too.

Clash Against Canelo or Cotto

Canelo and Cotto are scheduled to face each other in November, but the winner of the showdown will have to face World Boxing Council middleweight mandatory challenger, Gennady "GGG" Golovkin. There are also several boxers waiting for a chance to face both fighters, and the two of them could also arrange a rematch depending on the result of their upcoming fight.

August comeback

In order to get a chance to avenge his defeats against his former tormentors, Mosley must emerge triumphant in his rematch against Ricardo Mayorga on Aug. 29, at the Forum in Inglewood, California.

The Nicaragua native was knocked out by Mosley during the 12th round of their match in California in 2008. Could the 43-year-old boxer win again over Mayorga? Will it be enough to catch the attention of fighters who defeated him before?
