Subway popular spokesperson Jared Fogle, who married teacher Katie McLaughlin in 2010, has allegedly carried on extra marital affairs -- sometimes with underage girls.

Business Insider reports the FBI has subpoenaed an affidavit that describes alleged text messages between the restaurant franchise's former spokesperson and a former female Subway franchisee, in which Fogle reportedly admits to paying for sex with a 16-year-old girl.

The age of consent in Indiana, where Fogle resides, is 16.

According to the former franchisee's lawyer, Subway knew about the text messages between her and Fogle because she shared them with company management at the time, but Subway did nothing.

Subway claimed to have no record of the woman's complaint, according to Business Insider.

The information resurfaced, according to the woman's lawyer, when the FBI recently subpoenaed his law office for the text message conversations.

Business Insider, who viewed the text messages, reports that in the conversations Fogle repeatedly asks the woman to place a Craigslist advertisement for sex with other men so that he can watch the sexual acts. He offers to pay her about $500 per sexual encounter.

The woman reportedly responds to one text, writing, "Is this the same website you found that 16-year-old girl that you f***ed... I still can't believe you only paid $100 for her.''

Fogle allegedly writes back, "It was amazing."

According to the affidavit, the text messages span from January 2008 to June 2008 and were recorded from the woman's phone by a court reporter and verified by a notary-public official that same year.

The woman was reportedly in a relationship with Fogle at the time, but became uncomfortable as he pressured her to advertise for sexual trysts on Craigslist among other things, according to her lawyer.

"About the most recent news story on Jared Fogle, this allegation, if true, is appalling and is contrary to the values of our brand," Subway wrote Aug. 1 on its Facebook page. "As previously stated, we have suspended our relationship with Jared."

Fogle has not been charged with any crime. The FBI has not confirmed if he is being investigated.

The latest shocking allegations against Fogle arrive less than a month after the FBI raided his home during a child pornography investigation involving Russell Taylor, the former executive director of the Jared Foundation.

Fox 59 in Indianapolis reported in April that Taylor was arrested in connection with the possession and production of child pornography.
