Christmas Day is quickly becoming one of the biggest days on the NBA calendar. It is the expected date for a rematch of this year's NBA Finals.

According to Bleacher Report, the Cleveland Cavaliers are set to visit the NBA champions, the Golden State Warriors, on Christmas Day. The Warriors defeated the Cavaliers in six games in this year's finals to win their first title since 1975.

According to ESPN, the game is expected to be the headliner of the network's annual Christmas Day slate. The Miami Heat might host the New Orleans Pelicans in the first game of the day, according to the Miami Herald. The NBA has the right to change the teams and times in its season schedule.

With two games potentially on the slate, the other three games on the schedule haven't been announced. Last season, big market teams such as New York and Chicago were a part of the Christmas Day slate. Small market teams such as the San Antonio Spurs and Oklahoma City Thunder also played on Christmas Day.

The Cavaliers/Warriors matchup should be an interesting game. With the return of All-Star point guard Kyrie Irving and All-Star power forward Kevin Love, Cavaliers fans wonder what would have been if those two players were healthy.

Despite losing in the NBA Finals, the Cavaliers are the favorites to win the Eastern Conference this season.

The Warriors are favorites to win the Western Conference, although they are facing stiff competition. With both teams basically having the same group of players from last season, don't be surprised if these two teams meet again in next year's NBA Finals.

It should make for an epic Christmas Day contest. Will the Cavaliers get their revenge on the Warriors?
