The climatic season 3 of the soon to be defunct "Hannibal" series is reaching the most critical moments of the original novel by Thomas Harris. Episode 11 is titled "...And The Beast From The Sea." It will air this Saturday, Aug. 15 at 9 p.m. EDT, according to TV Guide.

This episode, according to Spoilers Guide, will put both Will Graham (Hugh Dancy) and Jack Crawford (Laurence Fishburne) into a tail spin with no way to find the Red Dragon, Francis Dolarhyde (Richard Armitage), before the next full moon.

It is apparent to both of them that he is going to strike again. His psychosis demands it, and the fact that Will has been intimately involved with Dolarhyde makes him certain the time is approaching for his next victims.

The threat of the Dragon also keeps both Will and Jack working tirelessly on the case. But Dolarhyde has threatened to kill the people close to his pursuers, namely Crawford and Graham.

Graham has already seen what life was like outside the mental prisons he's known all his life. His wife and closest confidante define for him what happiness really is.

Dr. Alana Bloom (Caroline Dhavernas) also knows this, and she seeks for a way to offer Hannibal Lecter (Mads Mikkelson) redemption in exchange for the safety of Graham and Crawford's families.

The story also takes on the unlikely scenario that Dolarhyde finds and rebukes love. But he still desires it and maintains a budding relationship with his blind coworker Reba (Rutina Wesley).

According to Entertainment Weekly, fans saw in the last episode that Dolarhyde's conversation with Dr. Hannibal Lecter was much akin to a young boy meeting his childhood idol. Lecter praised him from a point of approval, but still tested him about his commitment to the Red Dragon. The phone call still gave Dolarhyde the perspective that he was looking for.
