One thing you could count on with Apple is no single setback can keep them down for long. In their new flagship, Apple addressed the issues of the previous editions, including the "Bendgate" issue.

Unbox Therapy came out with a video review of the yet-to-be-released new iPhones, giving iPhone fans a glimpse of what's in store for them this year. Upon close comparison to the iPhone 6 and 6 plus, the backplate of the rumored iPhone 6s unit appears to be significantly thicker on key areas, particularly the spots where the bending of the previous models are prominent.

The weight of the upcoming smartphone is also slightly heavier, reinforcing the tougher and stronger image of the iPhone 6s.

Apple has talked about the "Bendgate" controversy in the past. In a report by Mac Rumors, the company revealed in a statement that although nine customers have experienced the problem, the issue has been overblown.

"The iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus feature a precision engineered unibody enclosure constructed from machining a custom grade of 6000 series anodized aluminum, which is tempered for extra strength," Apple said in a statement. "They also feature stainless steel and titanium inserts to reinforce high stress locations and use the strongest glass in the smartphone industry."

Recent reports hyped up the release of the new generation of iPhone before its September release date.

Based on notes by Ming-Chi Kuo of KGI Securities, Apple Insider previously reported an exciting new color option for iPhone 6s: rose gold. The new flagship will likely have new casing materials, different internal design, a better camera, a second microphone and possible scratch-resistant covers. Kuo also explained the Force Touch input.

"Force Touch can enrich user experience due to more input methods and support of handwritten signatures, which is beneficial for expanding the commercial market," he told Apple Insider.

While the much-awaited iPhone 6s has yet to hit the market, Apple Inc. is already betting on its successful run. A report by Wall Street Journal said Apple is ordering 85-90 million iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus units before the launch.
