Beyoncé and Gwyneth Paltrow are rumored to feuding in a showdown that has Madonna pegged directly in the middle.

OK reports the two have grown apart in recent months to the point of not being friends "at the moment," and all the tension can be traced back to around February, when Paltrow introduced Jay Z's better half to the self-described "Queen of Pop."

According to The Sun, Paltrow soon grew envious of Beyoncé's blossoming relationship with Madonna, with whom she once was quite close. Not only did a source tell the newspaper that the two A-listers are currently not friends, but also added that "Beyoncé's staff have been openly discussing it."

Reports are Paltrow was also bothered by Beyoncé being in Madonna's latest video and seemed of the mindset "the friend of my enemy is not my friend." Back in May of 2013, Radar Online reported Madonna snubbed Paltrow at a MET Gala event "but spoke effusively to Beyoncé" during a chance encounter.

"She chatted with Beyoncé for most of the evening and didn't even glance at Gwyneth," said a source. "Everyone talked about it." Reports are the feud between the two dates all the way back to 2009, when Paltrow decided she had taken enough abuse from her pal.

"Madonna would sh*t on her, over and over," claimed a source close to Paltrow.

In time, Madonna reportedly came to feel as if her friend had abandoned her and since then has seemingly set a course bent on revenge. After the MET Gala event, Paltrow openly told reporters she had a terrible time that evening, fueling speculation that Madonna's icy tactics might be getting to her.

"It was so un-fun," she said. "I did not enjoy it at all."
