In case you missed last week's episode of "Mr. Robot," please don't read any further.

In the last episode, Christian Slater's character (Mr. Robot) is revealed to be Elliot's (Rami Malek) father. As you remember earlier in the season, Elliot insisted on hearing more about his father from Slater's character but was pushed off a pier.

With the season finale getting closer, we should get a definitive answer on why Mr. Robot kept this information from Elliot.

After learning this information, Elliot is becoming more isolated and will not talk to Darlene (Carly Chaikin), who is also revealed to be his sister last episode, or Angela Moss (Portia Doubleday).

According to CarterMatt, someone from Elliot's past will jeopardize the Evil Corp hack in the next episode, titled "eps1.8_m1rr0r1ng.qt." Who will it be? Also, we will finally hear why it took this long for Elliot to learn about this information. The promo doesn't really give much information, but you can check it out below.

According to the International Business Times, Slater's character wants Elliot to "stick to the plan."

One question that has been floating around the show is: What if Elliot is imagining all of this? According to an interview with Vanity Fair, Malek addressed the question, saying, "That's true. But I don't want people to think, What if the whole thing is just in his imagination? I know we do take some creative liberties but I promise that this is not all for naught."

Malek also said that the viewers will find out what Elliot's reality is. Throughout this season, we have seen glimpses of how Elliot's mindset really is. He is this lonely and sociably awkward person, who has the ability to change the world with one computer key.

"Mr. Robot" airs every Wednesday at 10 p.m. EDT on the USA Network. The season finale will air next week.
