Pro Evolution Soccer 2016 (PES 2016) is coming to the Americas Sept. 15, and Konami says it will be the best game of the 20-year series, Polygon reports.

Thanks to the capabilities of next-generation systems, Pro Evolution Soccer 2016 will look even more realistic than ever before, its ball physics will improve, and the soccer experience will be excellent visually.

A new and improved collison system is coming to PES 2016. This system will cause a different outcome each time players run into each other. Different factors will contribute to the outcome of the collision, like player strength.

When the ball is up in the air and two players are battling for it, there will be an aerial strength battle. Players will use the left stick to try to win the ball.

The advancing soccer player on offense will have better reactions when he encounters a defender. He will either dribble past the defender or he will make a fake in order to dodge the defense.

Computer players (AI) will utilize open space better. This means that players will find them open more often, and that could lead to more scoring plays coming from combinations.

Goalkeepers are smarter in PES 2016. Thanks to this intelligence boost, goalkeepers will no longer make questionable decisions like punching a ball when they should catch it, or punting the ball when they should throw it to their teammate.

Camera angles have been improved in PES 2016, leading to a better view of the ongoing game. Players will now be able to see much more of the field.

Pro Evolution Soccer 2016 will not have as many licensed teams as FIFA 16 has, but they do have rights to the UEFA Champions League for the next three years.

Konami wants PES 2016 to be the best soccer game that they have released in their long history.

"PES 2016 will be the best game in the series," said Konami's Erik Bladinieres.

"We will continue to celebrate the history of PES and everything it stands for, and create a new level of quality that has never been reached by any football game. Here's to another 20 years."
