Would you spend over £10,000 or roughly $17,000 to modify your body? The man formally called Gavin Pasow did. Now he goes by a more sinister title: Diablo Delenfer. He has horns jutting out of his forehead, a massive tribal tattoo smeared across his face, and yes, he dons a Dracula-style cloak.

Yet the demonic warlord of Britain claims he's not mentally insane.

"Everything I've done, I've done fully conscious, fully awake," Delenfer remarked. "You see the needle coming towards you and that's really stressful. You can't be scared of pain if you're the Devil Man.'

If you're doubling over in pain just at the thought of getting horns implanted in your head than please do not read any further. Diablo is only getting started.

"I describe myself as a body modification artist."

He knows that his ink, piercings, horns and persona makes him stand out from the dainty English crowd.

"I am a human curiosity but body modification is my life's journey. It's a little bit weird, a little bit eccentric but that's what I am."

I don't know what you're thinking, but this guy reminds me of the people I read about in Ripley's Believe It or Not! books as a kid.

America and to a lesser extent England is known for their diversity. But Delenfer was determined to be the most diverse of all.

"I chose to become the Devil Man because everything else has been done, whether here or in America. I'm not satanic at all -- it's just a piece of fun."

How do the ladies take to his demonic looks? Not well, apparently.

"Relationships is a bit of a difficult issue to be honest," he confesses. "I'm looking for someone who can see beyond the mask.

"It has changed the way people look at me, accept and deal with me. It has made certain aspects like relationships difficult but it is my life journey and I ain't stopping!"

Keep rocking on, Devil Man!
