World Boxing Organization welterweight champion Timothy Bradley could get his second championship belt this year if he beats International Boxing Federation title holder Kell Brook in their proposed fight this fall.

Bradley and Brook's camps are considering a unification battle between the two champions, according to the British boxer's promoter, Eddie Hearn. Hearn told Sportsmail that he is in talks with Top Rank CEO Bob Arum who promotes the American warrior.

"Kell wants to fight Bradley. I had a good meeting with Bob Arum. There are plenty of names available but we would like to fight Bradley. Of course we would like to fight Amir Khan, but outside of that fight, this is the best one for us. Style-wise it would be an absolute belter," Hearn said.

Boxing Scene earlier informed that Bradley may be facing former boxing champion "Bam Bam" Brandon Rios in November or early December, citing Arum. However, there were some issues with HBO regarding budget that may be a hurdle for the Bradley-Rios fight to push through, noted the site.

Sportsmail also noted that Hearn will still be meeting with key people from Ruslan Provodnikov and Diego Chavez camps to consider options for his fighter.

However, the Bradley-Brook proposed battle is very promising and could provide fans an exciting fight to anticipate this fall.

Bradley, who was declared by the WBO as its champion after Floyd Mayweather Jr. failed to pay the sanctioning fee on his May 2 win over Manny Pacquiao, is out to prove he deserves the crown previously owned by two of the greatest boxers in their generation.

On the other hand, Brook is on a mission since he wants to impress fellow British fighter and World Boxing Council silver welterweight titlist Amir Khan and coax him into a match next year. Khan told The National that he could face Brook as soon as he triumphs over other big names.

With Brook facing Bradley, who already faced and only bowed to the eight-time world champion "Pacman," Khan may consider him a solid foe next.
