Katy Perry unveils the preview of her upcoming visual for "Dark Horse" featuring Juicy J, where she transforms into her inner Cleopatra, also known as "Katy-Patra."

The 29-year-old singer took Twitter to promote her latest music video with the following caption, "MEET THE QUEEN OF MEMPHIS (Egypt, that is)."

The 32-second sneak peek starts with a series of animated hieroglyphics in which a story is inscribed. "According to legend there was a magical queen in Memphis, Egypt," the tale unfolds with an accompanying picture of a trio of pyramids, a pink sphinx and a starry acrobat. "Every eclipse, kings would travel from Brooklyn to Babylon to win her heart."

"If she fell in love, you'd be top dawg," the story continues. "If she didn't, her wrath would leave you whimpering. Her name was Katy-Patra."

A set of golden doors decorated with a giant pink-jeweled heart then open to a throne. Perry appears at the very end of the visual, which pays homage to Elizabeth Taylor's famous portrayal of the ancient Queen of Egypt in 1963's movie epic "Cleopatra." She certainly puts her own twist into the icon, as she is excessively blinged out, not to forget her diamond-studded grillz. As the camera zooms in, the close-up of the singer shows her wearing a black wig, as well as purple orange eye shadow and heavily scrawled eyeliner.

The clip finally ends with a question: "Who will win her heart?"

The new music video for "Dark Horse" is scheduled to premiere on Feb. 20.
