Premios Tu Mundo returned for its fourth installment on Aug. 20 to honor the best in television and Latin music.

Angelica Vale and Rául González started off the hosting duties and were later replaced by co-hosts Maria Elisa Camargo, Gabriel Porras, Carmen Aub and Rafael Amaya.

The night's musical performances included several collaborations and new song premieres. Puerto Rican star Olga Tañon opened the show with a salsa filled performance of her new song "Vivo la Vida." Alejandra Guzman also took the stage to perform "Adiós" with reggaeton newcomer Farruko and Yuri premiered "Al Bailer" with Yandel. 

Other performances included those by Paulina Rubio, Victor Manuelle, Jencarlos Canela and J Balvin, who performed his hit single "Ginza."

Nicky Jam, who closed the show and won the award for Party-Starting Song for "El Perdón," was presented the Warrior Spirit Award for overcoming struggle with alcohol and drug abuse and reigniting his career, which he originally began in the late 90s, reported Billboard.

Lucero came out to not only perform a tribute to the late Joan Sebastian, who Angélica María spoke about on stage, but to also honor Don Francisco and present him with the award for his contributions to Television, the Latino community and pop culture in general. 

Musicians who scored trophies also included Daddy Yankee, who won Favorite Urban Artist and Fan Club of the Year. Romeo Santos, Enrique Iglesias and Gerardo Ortíz, who were all absent, took home Favorite Tropical Artist, Favorite Pop Artist and Favorite Regional Mexican Artist, respectively.

The telenovela categories included a few surprises and expected winners with "Tierra de Reyes" and "El Señor del los Cielos" winning several awards throughout the night, including the Novela of the Year and Super Series of the Year. 

Fernanda Castillo beat the popular Kate del Castillo and won the award for Favorite Lead Actress: Super Series and Rafael Amaya won Favorite Lead Actor.

The award for Perfect Couple went to "Tierra de Reyes" stars Christian de la Campa and Scarlet Gruber, who both also won Favorite Lead Actor and Actress in a novela. Cynthia Olavarría and "Tierra de Reyes" actor Fabián Ríos, who also won Best Supporting Actor: Novela, took home Best Villain: Novela awards. "El Señor del los Cielo" stars Mauricio Ochmann and Carmen Aub were awarded the Best Villain: Super Series awards.

Kimberly Dos Ramos won the "Im Sexy and I Know it" Award; social media star, Caeli, won the Favorite Influencer award; Gaby Espino won Favorite Host: Specials; and "Un Nuevo Día" won Favorite Show.
