Olympic skier Gus Kenworthy did not just make buzz online with his silver medal for slopestyle skiing or for his plans to adopt stray puppies in Sochi. Now, he's the most talked about guy in Bangerz singer life, Miley Cyrus.

Along with his other Team USA buddies, they tried reaching out to their celebrity crushes last Valentine's Day. His fellow Winter Olympic winners Joss Christensen and Nick Groepper reached out to Emma Watson and Taylor Swift respectively while he set his target on the Wrecking Ball star, Yahoo Sports reports.

When he asked Miley to be his Valentine via Twitter, the Olympian did not get a fast reply. But the athlete was exhilarated when Miley followed him back on the microblogging site on Sunday. One of the reasons of the follow back that the former Disney star stated is the sportsman's love for puppies since she shares the same soft spot for the furry pets too.

Miley tweeted a picture of American skier hugging four cute puppies. The possible romantic relationship to develop between the two certainly be a love match made in Twitter, NESN.com wrote.
