In the low budget post-apocalyptic film "Z for Zachariah," actress Margot Robbie gives a dynamic performance as a woman who survives in a territory not effected by the fallout of the nuclear war that seemingly killed everyone on the planet, according to Deadline.

But all that is about to change when she finally meets another person by chance, which turns out to be a man portrayed by Chiwetel Ejiofor. The two have a shaky meeting in the beginning, with her trying to get him out of a pool of water that was contaminated. They both had their guns drawn on each other until trust finally prevailed and they thought they were the last two people on the planet alive.

Sometimes, though, fates have a way of turning things around. The two believe they are the last alive and they naturally develop a romantic relationship. That is until they are rattled by the presence of one more man, played by Chris Pine.

The story, with its chilling beginning, seemed to be picking up for the better once all three made their way to each other. But it takes an alternative route and devolves into a thrilling chiller soon after.

As most might assume in a post-apocalyptic world, trust is something that can get you killed. The woman finds it too easy to trust the new white man that shows up. And she dismisses her black partner's concerns as jealousy. But things might end up a little more constrictive for the young lady when the story progresses.

The trailer for the film takes on a surreal, dark tone and indicates that the woman has nothing left to lose, but everything to gain. She had went a year without seeing anyone before she encountered Ejiofor bathing in a hillside waterfall pool.
