Actress Viola Davis has let the cat out of the bag to The New York Times in regards to her character Amanda Waller on next summer's "Suicide Squad." The film, which is now getting so much hype that it is comparable to "Batman v Superman," has contractually obligated the actress to reprise her role in two subsequent movies.

Although there has never been any doubt that the rise of the DC Cinematic Universe is expected to take leaps and bounds following the gigantic success of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, there have been some doubts as to how many individual films will be produced, as opposed to how many team-ups will be produced.

But Davis has now let fans know that there will at least be three "Suicide Squad" films.

"This is my first big superhero movie," Davis told NYT. "I signed on for three, so it needed to be a great experience. This was a role that was just there to be fun. It was a chance to work with Will Smith, you know?"

This could have more than one meaning to it as well. Her character could be present in the upcoming "Justice League" film, and that is what she could have meant by signing on to three. But her words were so selectively to the point for "Suicide Squad" that fans think that is exactly what she meant, according to Comic Book.

It has also not been noted that she won't be in "BvS" next summer. Comic book film fans have gotten used to seeing Nick Fury pop up in several Marvel films, so she could be playing quite the similar role for DC as well.

In total, there are 10 films from the DC Cinematic Universe slated for release between now and 2020, so she could pop up in any number of those films as well. There are also rumors for "Batman" and "Superman" solo projects, which would bring the total count up to 12.
