Shane Mosley will make his return to the ring on Saturday. And if he wins, the veteran boxer wants to face either Floyd Mayweather or Manny Pacquiao in his next fight.

Mosley, who will face Ricardo Mayorga in a rematch on Saturday at the Forum in California, told Sports Illustrated that he decided to return because he felt he still has a lot of gas left in his tank.

The 43-year-old former world champion, who will fight for the first time since taking a seventh-round knockout loss to Anthony Mundine in November 2013, said that he has been training with younger fighters regularly. Based on the way he performed during the workout, he feels he can still compete at a high level.

Oozing with confidence, Mosley said that he is eyeing a rematch with Pacquiao or Mayweather because he is convinced he is still on the same level as the two boxing superstars.

"I've been in the ring working and training with a lot of the young guys coming up in the professional ranks," Mosley said. "I want to get a couple of fights and then I want to try for the world title again. I want to fight Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao. I'm on that level. I'm still on that level."

Mosley, who holds a 47-9 record with 39 knockout victories, absorbed a unanimous decision loss to Floyd Mayweather during their non-title fight in May 2010. A year later, the California native also suffered a lopsided loss to Pacquiao during their World Boxing Organization welterweight title fight.

But despite taking one-sided defeats to both fighters, Mosley, who insisted that his upcoming fight will not be his last, believes he is a better fighter now and he can avenge his defeats to both Pacquiao and Mayweather.

"This won't be my last fight. I'm gonna go out and fight some more," Mosley said. "I want to win the world title. I want to fight Manny Pacquiao or Mayweather. I want to fight these guys again. I know that now I'm a better fighter and I can get to these guys and win."

But before thinking about a rematch with Pacquiao and Mayweather, Mosley will have to beat Mayorga, who is also looking to get bigger fights. The Nicaraguan, who has a 31-8-1 record with 25 knockouts, won against Allen Medina and Andrik Saralegui in September and December last year, respectively
