One of the most hotly anticipated characters in the Marvel Universe is the big bad Thanos. He has appeared in a clip from “The Avengers,” as well after a few minutes of “Guardians of the Galaxy,” but audiences have yet to see him in his full glory.

Josh Brolin, the man who brings the character to life, however, does not know when audiences can expect to see him next. He was recently asked if he would bow in the upcoming “Captain America: Civil War,” but Brolin could not place an answer.

“I don’t know which one I’m in,” Brolin said according to MTV. “That’s a Kevin Feige question. I know the trajectory of what they’re doing, but I don’t know exactly which one I’m in.”

“Civil War” seems like a possibility, as Thanos might end up being the reason the superheroes stop fighting amongst themselves. However, if he fails to make an appearance in that one, then there is likely no doubt that he will show up in one of the two parts (or both) of “Avengers: Infinity Wars.” Those films are set to be the climax for the build up through the first three phases of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

When he does show up, Thanos will be doing war with the Avengers in what should be a must-watch spectacle. But which superhero is Brolin most excited about taking on?

“I don’t have a favorite because it’s me against all of them,” Brolin said. “I think the entirety is what I’m most looking forward to. Each and every one. I’m bringing the wrath.”

During that same interview, Brolin noted that he has been enjoying the reactions of fans to seeing him in public venues.

“I love going into a comic book store and a guy connecting me with Thanos, and seeing the incredible regressive awe that happens. Like you see them lose 30 years in can’t-breathe awe,” he noted. “That’s fun, and I have a lot of respect for those fans. I’m excited about doing it, I really am.”
