It takes a lot of effort to look the way Jennifer Lopez does.

The New York Daily News reports the "If You Had My Love" singer uses a "high-tech system to remember everything she wears" to make certain she doesn't do so again any time soon.

"She had her feet up at a meeting, and someone noticed that she had a bar code on her shoe and asked her if she borrowed them," said a source.

"Jennifer laughed and said no, that she has her own internal bar code system on all of her closets to digitally keep track of what she wore and when she wore it, so that she isn't caught wearing the same thing twice."

Word is everything the "Jenny From The Block" star drapes, from her lavish gowns to her sweat suits and T-shirts, has a tag inside with a code that's scanned into a database that pulls up a picture and description of every item she's considers putting on. Part of the description includes a date on which the garment was last worn and a database of paparazzi shots of her taken donning the outfit.

"She has a full-time staffer in charge of just her clothing," said a source, adding that with all Lopez's traveling and homes in New York and Los Angeles, the system also tracks every piece of clothing and keeps abreast of where each item is at all times.

"She takes her fashion very seriously," a source added. "She never wants to be caught accidentally in the same thing twice. When she chooses to wear something more than once, it's intentional."

Lopez opens up about her love and sense of fashion in the latest issue of Paper mag, where she graces the cover.

The sultry singer described her latest much bandied about look -- a see-through black Bao Tranchi dress she wore for her 46th birthday -- as "the little slutty dress."

Lopez went on to elaborate, "To me, it's stuff that's very custom or made for you or fitted -- that's how I like all my clothes to feel."
