Fans of classic film stars Anthony Hopkins and Ray Liotta will be pleased to see the two team up for an incredible take on a great story in the film "Go With Me." According to Deadline, the film is an adaptation of the 2008 novel written by Castle Freeman, Jr.

For those who are fans of independent cinema and love great stories told through the lens of low budget projects, this would be the perfect film for you. It is comparable to the 2010 film "Winter's Bone," which starred "Hunger Games" actress Jennifer Lawrence.

Deadline reports that "Go With Me" is about a young woman named Lillian, who returns home to a blue collar logging town that she once thrived in, only to find that it has changed. She becomes the subject of considerable abuse.

Lillian finds herself up against the terrible clutches of a former cop, who has turned into the town's sole crime lord named Blackway. His relentless torture of the young woman does not cause her to flee, but rather to fight.

She is constantly harassed by some of the locals and Blackway's crony underlings. She is hardly helped by any of the other locals, who have left the ruthless man to do what he wants in the town, as he sees fit. Even the local sheriff, played by Liotta, has advised her to simply leave town. He has been corrupted by the menacing man and his network of crime.

But she does find help in the way of a man, played by Anthony Hopkins, who is an ex-logger. He and his young friend come to her aid and share her vision of fighting the ominous crime lord.

In a clip from the film, you can clearly see Hopkins and Liotta carrying out a scene in which Liotta is portrayed as a corrupt lawman.
