During the offseason, Lin went undercover as a overweight trainer who messes with people at the gym. You can check out the video below:

Lin and Taiwanese actor Vanessa Wu starred in a six-minute ad for Adidas in which he donned a beard and pranked people at the gym, going by the name of "Wayne."

Despite his acting prowess, his skills on the court are also being praised by the Charlotte Hornets' coach.

In an interview with the Charlotte Observer, Charlotte Hornets head coach Steve Clifford compared Lin and fellow Hornet Kemba Walker to NBA MVP and current Golden State Warrior Stephen Curry and his teammate Klay Thompson.

"It's always good to have two pick-and-roll players on the floor," Clifford said.

"That way you can put pressure on the defense at one side, then switch it to the other. That makes more room to play similar to how Golden State does. You've got Steph (Curry) on one side, so defenses have to load up there, and then you've got Klay Thompson on the other with room to operate. That's what Kemba can do for Jeremy and Jeremy can do for Kemba."

Lin has been known as a streaky shooter but sometimes can be inconsistent. When the Hornets signed him to a two-year deal earlier this off-season, they are hoping he can recreate the magic he had as a member of the New York Knicks.

Both Walker and Lin are pretty good players offensively, but defensively they are limited because of their size. Both Curry and Thompson are excellent defenders and excellent offensive players.

It looks like coach Clifford is praising his players. It would be interesting to see how Clifford play Lin and Walker together in the upcoming season. We know one thing: Lin is not Curry, but his game could be modeled after the reigning MVP.

During his time with the Lakers, Lin seemed to struggle under coach Byron Scott system. With Kobe in the lineup, Lin didn't really had an opportunity to score points, but now with the Hornets, Lin has the opportunity to establish himself as a great point guard for the team.
