Fans will have a lot to look forward to when Season 5 of "Grimm" premieres on NBC next month.

As fans may recall, the Season 4 finale ended with a shocking cliffhanger, after Trubel (Jacqueline Toboni) killed Nick's (David Giuntoli) girlfriend Juliette (Bitsie Tulloch) in order to save him.

During the gripping scene, Nick was about to kill Juliette to avenge his mother's death. However, he was overcome by his love for Juliette and could not find the strength to kill her. That's when Trubel stepped in and fired two arrows into Juliette. After Juliette was shot, Nick cradled his former lover in his arms and watched her die.

While speaking at the 2015 Comic-Con, the executive producers of the series opened up about what's to come in the new season, reports TV Equals.

"We're going to answer the keys, finally," teased EP David Greenwalt when asked what fans can expect to see. "The whole year is sort of the rise of the Wesen. There's a lot of bad stuff coming to Portland."

When asked if Nick and Adalind will end up becoming a couple, Greenwalt answered saying, "They have a kid, but who knows."

"It opens up a lot of possibilities," added Jim Kouf.

"And they have to spend time together because they have a kid," said Greenwalt. "And they have such a crazy history."

Although the stars of the show have teased that Season 5 will be a reboot that will include elements from the first season, Kouf clarified, saying, "It's not completely going back to Season 1. It's just progressing forward in a way that allows the characters to grow together, and, in some cases, grow farther apart."

The producers also confirmed that Toboni will reprise her role as Trubel in the new season.

"She's coming back. She'll be around" said Greenwalt.

Kouf added, "We love Trubel."

Season 5 of "Grimm" will premiere on NBC on Oct. 30.
