"Shadowhunters" cast member Isaiah Mustafa, who will portray Luke Garroway in the upcoming ABC Family show, hosted a Twitter Q&A on Wednesday. He answered fans' questions about the TV series, what he likes about his role as Garroway and his personal life.

When asked by @jocelyn_garoway what his favorite book in the "Mortal Instruments" series is, he tweeted, "City of Glass."

Mustafa revealed that his favorite place on set is the Jade Wolf. In the story, the New York werewolf pack resides in a building with a Chinese restaurant called Jade Wolf. Occasionally, the pack takes restaurant calls and delivers food to customers.

His answer provides a spoiler for "Shadowhunters" -- we now know that the werewolf pack will be included in the storyline, which makes sense because they were instrumental in stopping Valentine Morgenstern as well as helping to find Clary Fray's mother, Jocelyn Fray, in Renwick's.

On a personal note, a fan asked Mustafa if he could keep only five possessions, what would they be?

"@saraGG14 5: my daughter, my leatherman, my dogs (package deal), a good book & my towel," he wrote.

TVLine reports the "Shadowhunters" storyline will be loyal to Cassandra Clare's six novels while adding new twists for viewers.

"When you're adapting, you always have to find the balance of being loyal and giving them something new and I think we've found a good balance," ABC Family president Tom Ascheim said about the series.

Ascheim teased that the footage he's reviewed looks both "beautiful" and "big."

"We're excited by the dailies," he said.

"Shadowhunters" is based on the young adult fantasy books titled "The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones."

The ABC Family show cast includes Katherine McNamara as Clary Fray, Dominic Sherwood as Jace Wayland, Alberto Rosende as Simon Lewis, Emeraude Toubia as Isabelle Lightwood, Matthew Daddario as Alex Lightwood, Harry Shum Jr. as Magnus Bane, Mustafa as Garroway, and Curtis Morgan as Pangborn.

"Shadowhunters" is expected to debut in January 2016.
