Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump criticized fellow GOP candidate Jeb Bush for speaking Spanish on the campaign trail.

Speaking to the conservative-leaning Breitbart, Trump said he likes the former Florida governor but only one major language should be spoken in the U.S.

"I like Jeb. He's a nice man. But he should really set the example by speaking English while in the United States," said Trump.

The Republican front-runner made the comments after Bush questioned the real estate mogul's commitment as a conservative. Speaking to reporters during a Miami campaign stop, Bush said, "El hombre no es conservador," which translates to "The man is not conservative."

Bush, continuing in Spanish, said Trump attacks him daily and personalizes it. He added, "If you're not totally in agreement with him you're an idiot or stupid or don't have energy or blah, blah, blah ... and that doesn't work because there are millions of people who today think their day is not how it's suppose to be."

Bush further claimed Trump has no conservative record and has supported Democrats such as House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi and Hillary Clinton.

"He's been a Democrat longer than he's been a Republican. He has said he's felt more comfortable being a Democrat," Bush said.

Trump charged back and compared himself to Ronald Reagan. Trump said Reagan initially was not conservative but eventually become one. The businessman claimed he will become a greater conservative when he completely his presidency -- greater than Bush.

Bush also went on Twitter to pan Trump. He tweeted Trump is insulting his way to the highest political office but that approach will not work.

Appearing on ABC's "Good Morning America," Bush responded to Trump's initial comments. Bush said if Trump has a problem with the Spanish language, then why did the businessman have a contract with Univision to broadcast beauty pageants?

"This is a diverse country. We should celebrate that diversity and embrace those shared values. Mr. Trump doesn't believe in those shared values. He wants to tear us down. He doesn't believe in tolerance, he doesn't believe in the things that created the greatness in this country."
