Houston Texans defensive tackle Vince Wilfork is parting with his Massachusetts home.

The 33-year-old NFL player, Wilfork, has offered his Franklin residence for nearly $700,000, Realtor.com announced.

The former New England Patriots' defensive guy also lived in this home with his wife and three children, noted the real estate site. Wilfork tasked Michele Haynes of ERA Key Realty Services to handle the property listing.

Haynes, the real estate agent described the abode as something that is in "a great location, nice and private." The listing further describes the dwelling place as a " beautifully updated home perfect for entertaining."

The 3,327-square-foot residence reportedly includes four bedrooms and two and a half full bathrooms. Other living spaces in the home are a laundry room, a grand dining room, a formal living room, a sunken family room, an expansive sun room, play room, a media room, an office, a three-car garage and two fireplaces.

The next owners will find the master bedroom a soothing place to stay with its airy ambiance courtesy of soaring ceilings. It also comes with two walk-in closets, a private bath equipped with a huge bathtub, a custom-made shower, double vanities and an extra room.

House hunters may appreciate the updated kitchen that comes with a granite-lined center island, some appliances like three wall ovens, a pantry and upgraded cabinets installed just December of last year.

Notable interior details include hardwood flooring, French doors, cathedral ceilings and recessed lighting.

Outdoors, there is a carefully-maintained yard dotted with grown trees that displays a swimming pool.

A New Start in Houston

The Boynton Beach-born football player has spent 11 seasons with the Patriots, the only team he played for since 2004 before he transferred to the Texans this season, per ESPN stats. The two-time Super Bowl champ signed a two-year deal worth $9 million with the Houston team in March , NFL reported, citing Ian Rapoport. The five-time All-Pro's contract also comes with a $5 million guaranteed money.

Coming from a recent Super Bowl victory, Wilfork intends to raise the bar for the whole team, informs Houston Texans' website.

"You have to put pressure on each individual, and that's what I'm going to do. I'm going to put pressure on everybody. Not just myself. Not just the older guys. Not just J.J. (Watt). The quarterback. The coaches. No. It's everybody," Wilfork said.

"I'm not a rah-rah guy...I love the game. But if I need to say something, I will say something," the defensive tackle added.

The six-foot-two, 325-pound athlete had the most productive season in 2011-2012 where he delivered 3.5 sacks and two interceptions, as posted on ESPN.
