The trailer for season 3 of "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." is out and the teaser hints a different Leo Fitz for the viewers to see.

Fitz (Iain De Caestecker), who is Jemma Simmons' (Elizabeth Henstridge) laboratory partner and the agency's very gifted engineer, appeared to be bolder and more daring in his scenes as he sported a gun in a cool and calm manner. It was entirely different from the Fitz in the previous seasons, who was so scared of using it like when he shot someone out to kill Melinda May (Ming-Na Wen) in the first season. He was almost always under a table or a car in scenes like these.

However, it seemed like Fitz changed. It must be a product of what he went through after learning Simmons disappeared. In an interview with Chloe Bennet, who now calls herself Daisy Johnson and sporting a pixie haircut, she hinted that it was Fitz who was very much affected, as expected, by Simmons' unknown whereabouts. He was also determined to find her.

"There's been such a big time gap, so one of the main focuses is that some of the characters have almost -- not given up, but have been like, 'We've tried everything.' Fitz is that one person who's like, 'Not everything!'" Bennet told Entertainment Weekly.

For those who missed the second season's finale, Simmons was swallowed by the Kree monolith after Fitz accidentally opened the glass enclosure unknowingly. Surely, Fitz also had the burden on his shoulders to find Simmons alive and well, especially after Simmons did the same to him when they were inside a glass vessel around 90 feet below the sea in season 1.

The trailer above also showed Fitz may also be in trouble sometime in the next season as hinted in one scene where a bag was put over his head. Did someone kidnap him, too?

Meanwhile, the trailer above already introduced other Inhumans that Daisy Johnson and Phil Coulson (Clark Gregg) are looking for, as teased by Spoiler TV.

Spoiler TV featured the series' plot synopsis and noted that viewers would be acquainted with more Inhumans on season 3 like someone called Lash, who appeared on the trailer as the shadow of a monster with spikes. Former NFL player Matthew Willig will take the role of Lash. The beastly creature possesses the "ability to absorb and expel energy," and also has great strength and agility, Comic Book noted.

The clip also showed an Inhuman named "Joey," who needs help in controlling his gift. He is portrayed by Spanish actor Juan Pablo Raba.
