Efrain Galicia has filed a lawsuit against Trump's security squad after he was assaulted by one of his bodyguards.

Last month, Keith Schiller, Trump's director of security and longtime bodyguard, confiscated a protester's sign, which read "Make America Racist Again." Galicia went after Schiller to get his banner back, and a 10-second tussle ensued. Schiller swatted at Galicia with the sign, hitting in the face and into another guard. A group of reporters caught the situation on tape.

Galicia is seeking money damages for assault and battery. He also states Trump interfered with his "lawful demonstration" and "political speech."

According to Trump's campaign, Schiller was blindsided by Galicia and is planning on pressing charges against him. Galicia and four other Mexican activists filed the papers in the Bronx Supreme Court today.

The protests against Trump come on the heels of Trump's racist remarks toward Mexicans during his campaign announcement. In that announcement, he called Mexicans "rapists, drug dealers and bringing crime to the country."

Despite his rant, he leads all Republican nominees in the polls at 32 percent. Coming in at a distant second is neurosurgeon Ben Carson with 18 percent.

Trump promises he will win the Latin vote, but according to this recent poll, 81 percent say they are not in favor of him becoming president.  Although it is a year away from the general election, most people think Trump will not have a shot at the Republican nomination and will drop out sooner than expected.
