"iZombie" fans, especially followers of Nick Purcha, may rejoice as the actor teases that he would still appear in season 2.

Purcha, shared a Twitter post hinting his character, Evan Moore, Liv's (Rose McIver) brother has probably survived his nearly fatal condition.

In last season's finale, Evan, who was starting a job at Blaine's (David Anders) meat shop, received the full blow of the gas-induced explosion incident. It was a heartbreaking cliffhanger, with Liv and her mother seeing Evan in the operating room, with his life hanging by a thread. The doctor informed them that Evan gravely needs a blood transfusion. Liv's mom was hopeful as Liv was a blood match for Evan, but she refused to give him blood.

The viewers could understand where Liv was coming from as she just recently earned hurtful reactions after she turned her ex-fiancée Major (Robert Buckley) into a zombie by a mere scratch to save him. Prior to that, her best friend and roommate Peyton (Aly Michalka) left her when she also found out the truth. Liv knows that she will turn her brother into a zombie, and she could not give him a life like hers and be blamed after by not giving him a choice.

Yet, with Purcha's post, Evan may have continued to live after all, assuming the clothes he's fitting are not his coffin clothes. Still, if he lived, it may be possible that Liv still did not give him blood.

First, she really looked firm when she denied her blood. Second, being a zombie, she actually does not seem to have that much blood to give, as seen in the previous episodes where zombies did not bleed a lot when shot. Third, if she changes her mind, she could actually just scratch him, as it is easier.

So, who could be Evan's savior in case he lived? It may be their father, who was announced to be part of the show this second season by TV Line.

On ComicBook.com, McIver did not reveal if Purcha survived, but she said that Liv's life will still change dramatically.

"We pick up a few months later and so decisions have been made. Lives have been lost or lived through, and so it's going to be...Liv's world have changed a lot. A lot of people who mattered to her in her life know, and whether they accept her or don't accept her is going to really shift a lot of the dynamics for Season Two," McIver said.
