Fans can expect to see an exciting new season of "Grimm" as Nick goes on a quest for vengeance while trying to raise his son as a single father.

As fans may recall, the Season 4 finale ended after Trubel (Jacqueline Toboni) killed Nick's (David Giuntoli) girlfriend Juliette (Bitsie Tulloch) in order to save him. During the gripping scene, Nick cradled his former lover-turned-evil-hexenbiest in his arms and watched her die.

A newly released synopsis of Season 5 reveals that Nick will continue to struggle with Juliette's death as he takes on fatherhood. Plus, "Orange Is the New Black" star Elizabeth Rodriguez will reprise her role as an FBI agent in the upcoming season.

According to Zap2It, a synopsis states "Season 5 will pick up with Nick (David Giuntoli) coping with the death of his former love Juliette (Bitsie Tulloch) and the return of Agent Chavez (Elizabeth Rodriguez). He also has to deal with being a single father -- yup, Adalind (Claire Coffee) is definitely having Nick's baby."

Viewers can also expect to see actress Madeline Brewer, who played Tricia in Season 1 of "Orange Is the New Black," make a guest appearance in the upcoming season, reports TVLine. Brewer will play a character named Billie Trump, a lizard-like Wesen known as a Skalengeck, who appears in episode 6 and 7 of the new season. Brewer's character is described as "a fierce lieutenant in an up-and-coming Wesen street gang who is raising hell in Portland." Just when fans think that they have Billie's gang figured out, they will then discover that the group of monsters is indicative of horrible events to come.

It has also been revealed that Carlson Young from MTV's "Scream" has signed up to guest star on the show as well.

"Grimm" Season 5 premieres on Friday, Oct. 30, 9 p.m. on NBC.
